Here is when Glisto the gnome appears in the story. You will find Glisto hiding in several pages throughout the book. A reader will be able to create a story within a story by following Glisto the gnome's actions. When you see Glisto in the story work on prepsitions. He is hidden behind, on top of, in between, inside, beside, and underneath several different objects throughout the book.

Get the reader to engage by asking questions such as:

Glisto is the only thing still imaginary on these two pages:

Several different flowers are drawn in the book. Some of the flowers are rare, such as the Flying Duck Orchid. They actually exist in nature and are beautiful! Hector and Ivan's imagination turn these flowers into characters in the beginning of the story. Can you find them?
